i'm so used to referring to all the cool areas as being "downtown", but "uptown" charlotte, nc is pretty phenomenal. i like the way it looks. it's aesthetically pleasing.
yay me being a photographer with my cute red hat from H&M! (purchased at $8.00 i believe)
ticket to ride ze lynx.
some cute ass old men playing chess.
shiny crotch mirror bird art!
nic found this photo gallery in this building filled with a bunch of different rooms with different attractions. i kind of felt like alice, from wonderland duh, when i walked it. there were shiny floors and doors everywhere. we were the only ones really around, but it was nice. the gallery, located behind one of the doors, displayed a ton of black and white photos taken during the civil rights movement. there was a lot of emotion behind the photos. they were all really unique and eerie in a way - most being candid from raw perspectives you wouldn't except to see from that era.
it was a lovely day.
side note: i really don't enjoy having my picture taken anymore.
i always make these rude ass faces on purpose. "cheese"?! what is that?!
